BRCONNEXUS is pleased to announce its involvement in an officially selected session for the V Foro Abierto de Ciencias de América Latina y el Caribe (Foro CILAC 2026), taking place November 24–26, 2026, in Brasília, Brazil.
The proposal, “Redes que Resolvem: Governança Científica e Ação Territorial na América Latina e no Caribe” will focus on the role of scientific networks, governance, and territorial action in transforming collaboration into real-world impact across the region.
Under this year’s theme, “Ciencia que resuelve,” CILAC brings together leaders from across Latin America and the Caribbean to explore how science, policy, institutions, and communities can work together to address regional challenges.
For us at BRCONNEXUS, this is exactly the kind of space we want to help build: connecting scientific communities, institutions, and people across borders and creating opportunities for collaboration that extend beyond a single meeting.

Camila Sgrignoli Januario is a Science Diplomat with over 15 years of experience specializing in Global Scientific Partnerships. With a strong background in operations and external relations, she has led the development of large-scale educational and scientific programs, overseen advisory board governance, and delivered high-impact international conferences. Camila brings a strategic, systems-level approach to advancing collaborative scientific initiatives worldwide.
Nicolas Januario
Digital Strategy and Technology Lead
Nicolas Januario is a Multimedia Specialist with demonstrated expertise developing and managing digital infrastructure, strategic communications, marketing productions, and fundraising initiatives within the public sector. Nicolas contributed to the Microphysiological Systems World Summits (2023–2024) and is currently developing the Global Exposome Forum in collaboration with international research organizations.
